So the new year has arrived. And it's already two days old. XD

I still can't post any pictures up cos well you know, the internet is screwed up and I haven't got all the pictures from everybody yet. When I do, be prepared for a major diarrhea of happy wappy pictures. *grins*

Now since I have no pictures to upload and I have free time on hand, I think I shall do a mini re-cap of the year 2006.

What did Year 2006 offer? It offered many trials and tribulations but at the end of it all I received much love and kindness from all around me. It was a year when I learnt how to be truly grateful for what I have. A year where I began to accept things as they are. A year that slapped some sense into my thick headed brain so that now I emerge some what wiser. I am glad.

Recap of Year 2006

January
-The year began with such a dramatic bang. I had my first major misunderstanding with PY and much tension arose. But it was soon resolved and it strengthen our friendship ever further. I finally understood that friendships aren't perfect. Because people aren't perfect. Because everyone had different views and wants. I learnt to be less stubborn and admit my own flaws.

February
-Sent SY off to Melbourne. It was really hard for me. I felt left behind and stuck in the same ol' rut with no chance of seeking a life truly my own. And I missed her companionship which I had for a year and a half at Sunway tremendously.

-My relationship with Kenny was strained. We fought alot and ended up not seeing each other for almost a month. My heart faltered and my mind swayed. Valentine's Day came and we broke up. We got back together after a week just in time to celebrate out 1st anniversary. I learnt to be more independent. I learnt to be nicer to him. I learnt not to ever take anything for granted.

-Got to know Joel. Thru Robin. Online friends can be comforting.

-Started class in Monash. Was apprehensive and tired. I didn't felt like socialising. I felt really out of place. Felt uncontented.

March
-Met Andrew in Management Class. And then came the others. I finally found my loyal uni kakis that will eventually make studying in Monash bearable.

-Turned 20. Small scale celebration. PY and Chenn got me a huge Strawberry mat that is now hanging on my wall.

April
-Kenny's birthday in Shogun. My treat. Fought after that. -__-"'

-A trying period in our relationship.

May
-Went to Penang with my girls. Had the best time ever. The trip made me cherish them so much more. Sparked many more plans for future backpacking trips.

June
-World Cup!

-Met up with Zharif after 2 long years. Reignited a friendship that was once lost. XD

July
-Went to Bukit Tinggi with Kenny. A turning point in our relationship. We learnt to listen to each other. Compromise. Understand. And change for the better. XD

-Had a nice gathering with my Kepong peeps at La Casa and later Laundry. It was a fun fun nite!

-Italy won. Zidane headbutted. Woot!

August
-Kena saman-ed in Uni.

-Got really emo at one point. Lost my drive and will and direction in life. Resolved in the end.

September
-Went to the PC Fair and got a new spanking Laptop!

-Became budak rajin and studied for exams. Had wonky sleeping hours.

October
-Sleeping hours restored to normal. Became a happy child that slept early and rised early!

-Exams, exams, exams!

November
-Exam finished! Holidays! Went to Penang with Kenny and friends.

-SY came back! Yay!

December
-Decorated the whole house with Christmas ornaments. Pretty~

-Bought Christmas pressies and exchanged. I love my presents!

-Dinner at my auntie's with Kenny and Chenn.

-More outings and mamaking sessions.

-Love life getting sweeter and better. XD

-Countdown to New Year with Kenny, SY, Pui Yee and friends.

And that's a wrap. In a nutshell, it was a trying year. Trying from the every beginning. But it ended well. And I'm looking forward to a greater year ahead with faster internet connection so my pictures can be up soon!
