Woah, it's Chinese New Year tomorrow!

Which is the reason why I've decided to blog today because I know I would be too darn busy to do so in the later days. Gambling and drinking yo! I'm so looking forward to it. This is the only time of the year where you can do both with none of your aunties and uncles bitching behind your back. Yay!

Today I would be attending the usual family reunion dinner with the paternal side of the family in Sentul. Let's hope this nasty cough and sore throat heals by the time I get to the restaurant. Actually whether or not my throat heals, I'm gonna chow down anything I set my eyes upon anyway. XD

In the past few days, pictures from past events have been rolling in. Now I have too many pictures I don't know if I should post them all up in one go. And I'm kinda lazy to resize them and upload them. x( I have so many pictures from the Singapore trip and there's too much to blog about. Lazy la. And there's the pictures from last year's Christmas and New Year's Eve. How now?

You know what, I think I'll post them up after CNY lah. Now I'll just post random pictures from yesterday's girly wirly outing with Pui Yee. I haven't been out with her for such a long time and I had such a great time. I remember how often I used to go out with her in school. It's great to still be shopping and going for movies with her. As we were shopping we talked about how we actually grew up together and the first time we went shopping for our own clothes was with each other. XD That's so cool. Haha! 8 years and counting babe! Love ya!

Pui Yee at Paddingtons! I think this hairstyle suits Pui Yee to the boot no? XD

Melia at Paddingtons! I've been dreaming about scrumptious pancakes the night before. I just had to have them! Thank goodness Pui Yee sacrificed sleep for pancakes! All hail Pui Yee Pancake Eater!

Pui Yee all focused on the menu. There were sooooo many choices it was almost impossible to choose! We spent quite awhile deciding on which pancakes to order. Decided to order a sweet one and a salty one.

While waiting for Pui Yee to decide, itchy hand me decided to play with the camera and took a few shots of the interior in Paddingtons. Oh btw, it's Paddington's House of Pancakes at the Curve for those of you who've never been. XD

Finally our pancakes came! Yay! The first one was the Lamb Pie with Mash Potatoes and the second was Pancake with Assorted Fruits, Almonds, Double Ice Cream with Banana Liquor. The lamb pie was heavenly. I loved how they covered the meat with a few layers of pancake. Damn sedap I tell you. I think lamb meat is the yummiest meat ever! Long live the lamb...err...meat.

A macro shot (though quite poorly done) of the sweet pancake. This was darn good as well. The lamb still rocks though.

All wiped-out clean! Heh. Thank goodness we didn't order a 3rd plate because we were stuffed!

After lunch we walked around The Curve. The decos were soooo pretty. I've heard alot of hype about the cherry blossom trees (seen alot of pictures as well) so I had to go and get pictures! And so we did! Though Pui Yee did ask "And how are Sakuras relevant to Chinese New Year?" Haha! I guess the management got mixed up between the Chinese and the Japanese. I mean that would only explain the weird floating umbrella thingamajigy. Oh well, it looked splendid so I'm not complaining. XD

The obligatory cam-whoring picture. Pui Yee was really impressed with my camwhoring skills because I manage to catch the background as well. Actually ah, camwhore sounds darn degrading man. Everytime I type it out I feel like I'm insulting myself. I think I'm gonna say narcissism instead. Haha!

Having fun in the fitting room at Padini Concept Store. Hey, it's a girl thing okay? Love my shoes. XD Shopping is fun because we get to do this. Pui Yee bought 4 tops from SEED. You go girl!

After the Curve, we went to Cineleisure to catch a movie and stumble upon this shop, Seraphina. I always thought it was a kids clothing store because of the overdosage of the colour pink. But apparently it was not. And they have these really really cute dresses and tops too. Very lolita-ish and retro looking. Both PY and I got the same top. It's the white one, we're both wearing. They have these quirky fitting rooms that resembles a bathroom equiped with tiled walls and a shower head. Haha! I like! Though there's too much pink in that place. It's a little sickly sweet.

After the movie we went for Shabu Shabu at this Japanee restaurant called Satsuma. People, don't ever go there. The stuff there are horrendously overprice and the food doesn't taste THAT great in my opinion. But I had fun lah, makaning with one of my bestest girlfriends. XD

Oh yeah we watched this movie called This Love or something. Rachel Bilson is so pretty. But this movie got me really worked up. It focuses mainly on the various problems encountered in a relationship. And there was this character who's afraid of commitments. He has a live-in girlfriend who's 10 weeks pregnant with his baby. She's funny, lovely and sexy and he goes on to cheat with her with a college student (Rachel Bilson). You know, I think some men are really eff-ed up. When your life is too prefect you get bored, when it's in shambles you take it out on your partner. And you think sleeping around is fine as long you don't love the person you're screwing with. How is that even acceptable? "I love you baby, I realise that you're the only one that I want to spend the rest of my life with after I slept with her. It was nothing. I don't love her!" Well screw you and your distorted sense of logic. If you wanna screw someone at least have the balls to admit that you wanted to. Don't freaking say it was nothing because it surely wasn't nothing!

Phew! Haha! I gotta chill. Getting so worked up when *touchwood* I've never been cheated on. But one thing's for sure, I will never tolerate it. Never ever.

Alright I need to get some sleep.

It's great to hear from you again, wow it's amazing, i mean i dun expect to bump into you through blogging as well. Haha, i just started to get into the blog-fever, thanks to our dear fren, Joshua Chay(still remember him right?) i miss CNY in malaysia... my CNY was spent at a 5 star French Restaurant... although the creme brulee was good... my mind was floating off to roasted pork, duck and herbed soup... ahh... heaven..

btw...the movie was called the Last Kiss... and yes, R Bilson is so cute... so girlfriend material... and so is Sienna Miller...
